FeminaFast focus on the problem women have due to their special needs. Women's hormone cycle affects their metabolism, mood swing, and their well being. Going through the journey of making this app as best as possible, we learn a lot of nutrition, hormone, psychology, etc. It makes us feel different because as men, we also could take part in the journey of empowering women. We develop this app with our mother, sister, girlfriend, and wife in mind. We hope it will help them in their lifetime. Below we will show you how we found this app.

Essential Question: How can women effectively improve their health and well-being during their 30s?Challenge: Addressing the unique health challenges faced by women in their 30s, including:
Guiding Question: What constitutes a healthy lifestyle for women in their 30s?
I interviewed three women in their 30s who had tried different diet methods to improve their health. Here are the shorter version of the user interviews:
User Interview 1
Glenda is in her 30s and has tried calorie counting, which was effective. However, she only does it during the dieting phase because it is a bit of a hassle. She has gotten used to counting calories over time, so she now does it automatically. She finds calorie counting to be a relatively effective method. She has never tried the keto diet or intermittent fasting, but she has researched them. She has not yet tried any other methods, so she relies on herself to determine her daily energy needs.
User Interview 2
Stephanie is in her 30s and wants to diet because she is tired of buying new clothes and replacing her wardrobe. Her BMI is also overweight. She tried ketosis, which was effective in helping her lose weight, but she developed headaches after a week. This interfered with her work productivity. Her diet consultant then recommended intermittent fasting, which was effective for her.
She now does intermittent fasting on a daily basis without feeling burdened. Her weight is now stable because she is used to skipping breakfast and not eating outside of her fasting window.
User Interview 3
Danielle is a factory worker who started dieting because she developed health problems in her 30s, such as high cholesterol and high blood pressure. She tried calorie counting, but she found it too inconvenient. She has time to exercise, luckily, because she has a gym at home. She then tried the keto diet and intermittent fasting because her friends had success with them. When she wanted to lose weight quickly, she did both methods at the same time. She initially experienced headaches and fatigue, but all of the symptoms went away once she entered ketosis. When her weight stabilized, she stopped dieting and will start again later.
However, so far, she has not experienced any yo-yo effect and her weight has remained relatively stable. Also, because she has been doing intermittent fasting, she has already formed the habit.
Based on our interviews, I found that the following are important considerations for women in their 30s who are looking to improve their health:
I also found that the following methods were effective for the women I interviewed:
Based on our researchs above, we make user persona to better understand our user. Here’s our user persona:
Vina, a 30-year-old sales manager, seeks weight loss solutions that are time-efficient and minimize side effects. She also experiences hormonal fluctuations that impact her daily emotions.
Needs and Goals:
We also did an interview to someone who is an expert about health, & lifestyle here’s the summary:
Kamya, a personal trainer with over 10 years of experience, believes that protein is the most important nutrient for the human body. Carbohydrates are not as important unless you are doing something that requires short-term, intense concentration or heavy work.
Kamya also believes that many people are mistaken about losing weight. Losing fat is more important than losing weight. Many diets will cause people to lose muscle as well, which is not ideal.
In the end, all diets will cause people to lose muscle. However, if protein consumption is sufficient during the diet, drinking enough water, and exercising regularly, the effect of losing muscle can be reduced.
Kamya believes that diet is not healthy to do in a prolonged period. However, the effects of diet are less than the effects of being overweight.

Based on our observation and interview, women tend to like pink color and pastel color pallette in general with rich visuals or illustrations. The color pallette also has to be compliant with WCAG standard to make sure we have enough contrast in the UI. Here is the color palette that we choose:
MLPs are similar to Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), but with a different focus. While MVPs are designed to validate product ideas, MLPs are created to make customers fall in love with the product. Long story short, our app is already on the App Store, click this to check it out!
